With loving care, several abandoned and ruined family houses were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character.
Special interest groups from abroad soon discovered the natural charm of these houses nestling in the tranquil countryside.
A growing number of visitors now keeps these quaint villages alive, by offering the younger generations an additional source of income.
