Description
This former bailiff's residence was constructed over 300 years ago from the remains of the knight's castle 'Hohenkarpfen', which was destroyed in 1643.
The building was then used as a farmhouse for many years before undergoing a complete renovation in 1978, when it was first reopened as a restaurant.
In 1989 the former barn was converted to a hotel, and since then the Hofgut Hohenkarpfen has become a renowned and attractive venue for meetings and weddings.
