Description
The hotel comprises two small Mudejar buildings, that were built during the 16th century. The Alhambra Hall has an authentic Mudéjar panelled roof built in 1512 and for special occasions it can be converted into a dining room for groups of up to 35. Its outstanding patio is beautifully decorated with paintings, a fountain, columns, balustrades, ornamental tiles and in particular the renaissance paintings given by Alejandro Mayner and Giulio Romano, disciples of Rafael, who came to Granada in 1520 to paint the Peinador de la Reina in the Alhambra and also the Palacio de Santa Inés.
